The nearest station is Myorenji Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line, about a 12-minute walk from the house. From Myorenji Station, it takes about 10 minutes to Yokohama, about 15 minutes to Motomachi-Chukagai, and about 24 minutes to Shibuya, making it easy to head toward both Yokohama and Tokyo. At the next station, Kikuna, you can also use the JR Yokohama Line.

■ Daily shopping
There is a FamilyMart a 1-minute walk from the house. In front of Myorenji Station you will find almost everything you need for daily life, and a shopping street continues on from the next station, Hakuraku. OK Store, a supermarket near the station, offers even lower prices once you become a member, which helps if you want to keep your food costs down. It is a small station, but there are restaurants and cafes, and the area is pleasant to explore on foot.
