About this share house
This furnished studio is a good fit if you are living on your own for the first time and preparing a deposit or finding a guarantor feels like a burden. No deposit, key fee, or guarantor is required. The room has its own kitchen, toilet, and bath, so you don't share these facilities with anyone and can live at your own pace.
■ Commuting
The nearest station is Kakio Station on the Odakyu Odawara Line, about a 6-minute walk from the house. From Kakio Station you can reach central Tokyo without transfers: about 20 minutes to Shimokitazawa and about 29 minutes to Shinjuku. The next station, Shin-Yurigaoka, is about a 15-minute walk, so you can also walk there for shopping on your days off.
■ Daily shopping
A Sotetsu Rosen supermarket and a FamilyMart are a 3-minute walk from the house, and a 7-Eleven is about a 5-minute walk away. There is also a drugstore right outside the south exit of Kakio Station. Around the station you will find supermarkets, an electronics store, and local shops, and the town has a calm atmosphere.
■ Your room and the building
The room is a 17㎡ studio with a kitchen, toilet, bath, and Japanese-style closet, as well as a refrigerator, air conditioner, washing machine, desk, chair, and bed (furnishings vary by room).
The building is a five-story reinforced concrete building with 30 rooms. It has an elevator, which makes moving your belongings in easier. The entrance has an auto-lock, and each room has an intercom. The building stands along the Odakyu Line, but it is built with solid soundproofing. Bicycle parking is also available (spaces are limited).
■ Costs and contract
Electricity, gas, and water charges are included in the monthly common service fee, so you don't need to set up utility contracts yourself. Two people moving in together can also be discussed. The minimum contract period is 6 months.
