About this share house

This studio suits those who want to live close to the station, have no trouble with shopping, and spend relaxed days off surrounded by greenery. The room has its own kitchen, toilet, and bath, so instead of sharing a home, you can live in a space that is all your own.

■ Commuting
The house is about a 5-minute walk (about 350 m) from Higashi-Omiya Station on the JR Utsunomiya Line (Tohoku Main Line) and the Shonan-Shinjuku Line. From Higashi-Omiya Station, it takes about 20 minutes to Akabane, about 35 minutes to Ikebukuro, and about 40 minutes to Shinjuku. Because the station is close, the walk to and from it is not much of a burden even on rainy days.

■ The neighborhood
On the way from the station to the house there are two large supermarkets and a convenience store, so you can do your shopping on the way home. Near Higashi-Omiya Station there is a 24-hour Seiyu with a 100-yen shop inside, which is reassuring on days when you come home late from work or school. There is also a gym along the way.
Right in front of the house is a large park surrounded by greenery. Next to it is a sports ground that is free to use, and in summer it becomes the venue for a festival. It is usually a quiet residential area, where you can spend your days off reading in the park.

■ Your room and the building
The room is a 14㎡ studio with a kitchen with an IH induction cooktop, a unit bath, refrigerator, air conditioner, and washing machine. Some rooms are furnished with a bed, desk, and chair, so you can start living here without buying large furniture. The building is a four-story reinforced concrete building with 29 rooms.

■ Costs and contract
You will need to set up your own contracts for electricity, water, and internet with each provider. Two people moving in together can also be discussed. The minimum contract period is 3 months.

■ Viewings and questions
Online viewings are available, so feel free to contact us even if you live far away. Staff can also assist you in English.
