The house is about a 5-minute walk from Nakayama Station, whether you use the JR Yokohama Line or the Yokohama Municipal Subway Green Line. From Nakayama Station on the JR Yokohama Line, it takes 3 minutes to Kamoi, 11 minutes to Machida, 13 minutes to Oguchi and 25 minutes to Yokohama.
■ Daily shopping
There are plenty of convenient shops around Nakayama Station, and the LONLON station building has a variety of stores. In front of the station is the Nakayama shopping street, which holds events such as a festival in summer. The next station, Kamoi, has IKEA and LaLaport, which is handy when you want to add furniture or daily goods.
■ The neighborhood
The house is in a quiet residential area, and you can walk to the large prefectural Shiki-no-Mori Park. You can enjoy walks or jogging there among the seasonal scenery. Buses also run from Nakayama Station to Zoorasia (a zoo).
■ Your room and shared spaces
There are 7 rooms in total, Western-style rooms of 4.5 and 10 tatami mats. Each comes with a bed, a desk, a chair, a Japanese-style closet, lighting, an air conditioner and a refrigerator, and the internet is available.
The shared spaces include a kitchen with kitchen utensils, toilets, showers and a bathroom with a bathtub. You can choose a quick shower or a relaxing soak, depending on the day. The building is a reinforced-concrete structure, and there is no bicycle or car parking.
■ Costs and contract
Internet, water, gas and electricity are included in the monthly common service fee. If two people move in together, there is an additional monthly charge.

A 10-tatami-mat room is quite large for a share house, so there is plenty of space even if you have a lot of belongings. If you would like to move in together with a friend, please feel free to ask.
Besides the Japanese-style closet, some rooms have shelves, so you can store clothes, books and seasonal items separately. The shelves and furniture layout differ from room to room.
