This share house is a good fit if you want both an easy commute toward Shibuya and a calm riverside setting. With just 10 rooms in total, it is a smaller house where you can live at a relaxed pace.

■ Commuting
The nearest station is Futako-Shinchi Station on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line, an 8-minute walk from the house. Cross the Tama River and you can reach Futako-Tamagawa Station in about 15 minutes on foot. From Futako-Tamagawa Station, Shibuya is about 10 minutes away with no transfers, and on the Tokyu Oimachi Line it takes about 6 minutes to Jiyugaoka and about 16 minutes to Oimachi.

■ Daily shopping
Right outside Futako-Shinchi Station is Fuji Garden, a supermarket with fresh food (open 10:00–21:00). There is a coin laundry right next to the house, which is handy when you want to wash large items such as futons. On days off, you can walk to Futako-Tamagawa to go shopping or see a movie.

■ The neighborhood
The Tama River is about 20 seconds from the front door. You can go running along the river or simply relax and watch the water.

■ Your room and shared spaces
Rooms are private rooms of 4–7.5 tatami mats. Each comes with a bed, desk, chair, Japanese-style closet, lighting, air conditioner, and refrigerator, and internet is available.
Shared spaces include a living room, kitchen, toilets, showers, washing machines, and a shared computer. The building is a three-story steel-frame structure with bicycle parking (there is no car parking).

■ Costs and contract
The monthly common service fee includes internet, water, gas, and electricity. The minimum contract period is 3 months.

■ Viewings and questions
If you would like to see the house in person, viewings can be arranged as early as the next day. Online viewings are also available. Staff can also assist you in English.

Rooms are Western-style private rooms of 4–7.5 tatami mats. Each comes with a bed, desk, chair, Japanese-style closet, lighting, air conditioner, and refrigerator, and internet is available. You don't need to buy furniture or appliances; you can start living here with just your personal belongings.
For storage there is a Japanese-style closet, so you can keep futons, seasonal items, and suitcases all in one place.
Some rooms have windows on two sides and get plenty of sunlight, and the furniture colors and feel differ from room to room. Room sizes vary too, so you can choose one that suits how much you own and how you like to spend your time.
