About this share house

This share house suits people who want to live in a share house but still cook in their own room without worrying about others. Every room has a mini kitchen, so life here feels close to living on your own.

■ Commuting
The house is a 2-minute walk from Shin-Otsuka Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line and a 10-minute walk from Otsuka Station on the JR Yamanote Line. From Shin-Otsuka Station it takes 12 minutes to Otemachi and 15 minutes to Ginza. Ikebukuro is about 3 minutes from Otsuka Station on the Yamanote Line. With two lines, the Marunouchi Line and the Yamanote Line, you can choose your station depending on where you are going.

■ Daily shopping
There are several supermarkets around Shin-Otsuka Station, which is handy for shopping on your way home from work. On the way to Otsuka Station there is also a traditional shopping street. The house has no bathtub, but there is a public bath a 2–3 minute walk away, so on days when you want a soak, you can relax there.

■ Your room and shared spaces
There are private rooms of 4.5 and 6 tatami mats, as well as studio-type rooms. Every room has a mini kitchen, and lighting, an air conditioner and a refrigerator are provided. You can use the internet in your room.
The shared facilities are toilets, showers and a washing machine. Because each room has its own kitchen, you do not need to worry about cooking at the same time as others. The building is a two-story wooden house, and the share house is on the second floor. With just 7 rooms in total, it is a small, calm house.

■ Costs and contract
Electricity, gas and water are included in your monthly costs. You do not need to set up utility contracts yourself, so there is less paperwork when you move.

■ Viewings and questions
Online viewings are available. The staff can also help you in English, so please feel free to contact us even if you are not confident in Japanese.
