About this share house

"I'd rather not live in a share house. I want my own kitchen and shower, but I also want to keep move-in costs low." If that sounds like you, this furnished one-room apartment (1K) with appliances is a good fit. There is no key money, agency fee or key fee, and you don't need a guarantor.

■ Commuting
Two lines are available: Shin-Egota Station on the Toei Oedo Line is a 1-minute walk away, and Ekoda Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line is an 8-minute walk. From Shin-Egota Station, it's 13 minutes to Tochomae, 15 minutes to Shinjuku, 16 minutes to Yoyogi and 26 minutes to Roppongi, all without changing trains. From Ekoda Station, Ikebukuro is 6 minutes away without changing trains. Waseda University, Meiji University's Nakano Campus and other schools are in the area, so it's an easy place for students to commute from.

■ The neighborhood
There are restaurants and convenience stores near the station, as well as several supermarkets, so shopping is easy. Across Mejiro-dori Avenue in front of the house is a café, good for a change of scene when you're working on your computer or reading. About a 13-minute walk away is Egota no Mori, a park with wide green spaces that's nice for walks and runs on your days off.

■ Your room and the building
The room is a 1K of 15.5 ㎡ with a 5 ㎡ loft, and has a kitchen, toilet, shower, closet and balcony. The shower is a separate unit from the toilet. A refrigerator, air conditioner, microwave, toaster, rice cooker, washing machine, bed, desk, chair and storage shelves are also provided.
The building is a two-story wooden building with 16 rooms in total. It has an auto-lock entrance, and there are security cameras at the entrance and other places. There are personal mailboxes and a parcel delivery box, and you can use the bicycle parking (spaces are limited).

■ Costs and contract
The monthly common service fee includes electricity, water, gas and internet, as well as the cost of cleaning and maintaining the shared areas.
