About this share house

This large share house with more than 50 rooms is for people who want to live near a station and commute to central Tokyo while keeping their rent down. The entrance has an auto-lock, and showers and toilets are separate for men and women, so women can live here with peace of mind too. The house is for residents aged 39 and under.

■ Commuting
The house is about a 3-minute walk from Minami-Urawa Station on the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line and JR Musashino Line. On the Keihin-Tohoku Line, Omiya is about 10 minutes away, Akabane about 12 minutes, Nishi-Nippori about 23 minutes, Ueno about 26 minutes and Akihabara about 28 minutes, so you can reach Ueno and Akihabara without changing trains. Ikebukuro is about 28 minutes away. The Musashino Line takes you toward Chiba, and you can even get to Tokyo Disneyland without changing trains.

■ Daily shopping
A Daiei store is just a short walk from the house, with food on the 1st floor and clothing on the 2nd floor. The house is on the east exit side of the station, and right in front of the west exit is a shopping building with a supermarket, the 100-yen shop Daiso, Fashion Center Shimamura, a bookstore and more. The west exit also has a city service counter where you can get copies of your certificate of residence, seal registration certificates and other documents, which is handy when you are dealing with moving paperwork. A fitness gym is a 1-minute walk away.

■ Your room and shared spaces
Each private room comes with a bed, a desk and chair, an air conditioner, a refrigerator, lighting and curtains. If there is furniture you would like to bring yourself, you can talk to us about it.
The shared areas include a large living room and kitchen, kitchen utensils, a TV and an iron. The kitchen has three sinks and three counters, so several people can cook at the same time. There are washrooms on the 1st floor and upstairs, and washing machines and dryers on every floor. There are also women-only showers, washrooms and toilets. All toilets have bidet toilet seats. The building is a three-story reinforced concrete building and is non-smoking throughout. Seasonal events such as cherry blossom viewing, BBQs, Halloween and Christmas are also held.

■ Costs and contract
The monthly common service fee includes internet, gas, water and electricity. The minimum contract period is 6 months. Bicycle parking is free to use, and there is also car parking (for a fee, with limited spaces).
