Shinjuku / Nakano / Koenji / Small House (Max 9) affordable share houses (lowest price)

If you're looking for a small house (9 residents or fewer) in Shinjuku, Nakano, or Koenji, a small home with a consistent group of housemates lets you combine central-Tokyo access with calm, settled living.

The main candidates are Shinjuku, Nakano, Koenji, Takadanobaba, and Ogikubo along the Chuo and Sobu lines. Shared spaces are less crowded than in large houses, and while rent varies by area and room type, the Nakano and Koenji area, just a few stops from Shinjuku, tends to strike a good balance of convenience and affordability.
