If you are looking for a home in Yokohama where you can play musical instruments, the quickest way is to filter your search by properties with soundproof rooms or basement studios as your primary criteria.

While studio apartments within walking distance of Yokohama, Kannai, and Sakuragicho stations tend to be expensive, you can find more affordable soundproof options by looking slightly further out, such as Hakuraku or Myorenji on the Toyoko Line, or Hoshikawa on the Sotetsu Line. Since permitted playing hours and policies regarding upright pianos vary by property, it is best to confirm these details before scheduling a viewing.
