Listings with private rooms, sorted by the lowest monthly rent — cheapest first.
Share houses in Kanagawa that allow double occupancy are mostly located around major stations in Yokohama and Kawasaki, so the best way to find one is to look for spacious private rooms that can comfortably accommodate two people.
Properties are centered along the Tokaido Line, Keihin-Tohoku Line, and Tokyu lines—such as Yokohama Station, Kannai, and Musashi-Kosugi—making commuting to Tokyo a viable option. While private rooms that allow double occupancy have slightly higher rents than those for single residents, the advantage is that the cost per person is often more economical.
A furnished share house. Residents are mostly in their 20s and 30s, with many international residents and more men than women. Ideal if you prefer a relaxed, easygoing distance with your housemates.
