Instruments OK / No parties or events affordable share houses (lowest private-room price)

If you want to practice your instrument to your heart's content but are worried about disturbing the neighbors, the best shortcut is to look for share houses with soundproof rooms or shared spaces where instruments are permitted.

In the city, properties that allow instruments are easily found along the Chuo and Keio Inokashira lines, where music culture is deeply rooted in areas like Koenji, Shimokitazawa, and Kichijoji. We recommend choosing based on your playing style—such as using shared soundproof rooms for piano or drums, and your private room for guitar or wind instruments.
