J&F House Shinjuku is a 10-room share house located in the heart of Tokyo, just steps from JR Shinjuku Station and Tokyo Metro Shinjuku-sanchome Station. We have an international community with active resident interaction (as of April 2021, residents include individuals from the UK and the US).
The location offers excellent access to anywhere in the city: it is a 3-minute walk to Shinjuku-sanchome Station (Toei Shinjuku Line, Tokyo Metro Marunouchi and Fukutoshin Lines), a 10-minute walk to JR Shinjuku Station, and just a 7-minute ride to Shibuya via the Fukutoshin Line.
Currently, 8 people, including the house manager, live in the Shinjuku house, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The shared living room is a hub for residents to socialize, cook together, and plan outings. The rooftop terrace is equipped with tables and chairs, perfect for drying laundry or relaxing with a coffee on a sunny day.
The neighborhood is incredibly convenient, surrounded by large department stores, supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, 100-yen shops, electronics retailers, drugstores, and a post office just 30 seconds away.
Shared facilities include a kitchen, showers, toilets with washlets, a living room, TV, and the rooftop area. Each private room comes equipped with air conditioning, a small refrigerator, free internet access, and a digital TV connection (please bring your own TV). You can register your residence (juminhyo) here. The entrance uses a card key system, and with a resident manager on-site, the house is very secure.
