Here is how First House Takaido Suginami celebrated Halloween in 2025.
Over homemade hot pot and grilled meat, residents played games, watched movies and even ended up dancing together. The party started at 7 p.m. and went on until about 3:30 in the morning. Residents are on friendly terms with the staff at the convenience store just across the way, who even took photos for us.

This spring, residents of First House Takaido Suginami took a day trip by rental car to Hitachi Seaside Park in Ibaraki.
The hills were covered in blue nemophila flowers that seemed to run right into the sky, and we took plenty of photos together. Housemates here get along well enough to plan outings beyond the house.
